Engine and Performance

A 190-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the UR-V. At the base of the vertical grille is this engine. All three trim levels (LX, EX, and EX-L) provide this configuration as a free extra. As a basic feature, every UR-V comes with the ability to manage the descent from hills. This feature allows the small SUV to maintain a consistent speed on steep or slippery inclines, even when going at low speeds. A set of wheels of 18 inches in diameter is standard on all versions. The 2019 UR-V may lack the handling thrills of rivals like the CX-50 and Tiguan, but it makes up for it with a comfortable and engaging ride that never gets old. Both the hybrid and non-hybrid powertrain options for the UR-V are equally efficient in terms of fuel consumption. Results for the front-wheel-drive UR-V with the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder range from 28 to 34 miles per gallon in city driving and highway cruising, according to EPA estimates. Selecting an all-wheel drive vehicle has the effect of lowering these figures somewhat.
