Both of the Accord’s hybrid variants come standard with most of the desirable features. Among these amenities are a sunroof, heated seats, power driver’s seat, and dual-zone climate control. In the Accord Hybrid, the power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that, when used alone, generates 146 hp and 134 lb-ft of torque. When you include in the electric motor, the total increases to 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. It has front-wheel drive (FWD) and an automated transmission called a continuously variable transmission (CVT). When the conditions dictate, the hybrid system will seamlessly transition between electric power, gasoline, or a mix of the two. The parameters will dictate how this happens. Furthermore, the battery has the inherent ability to charge itself. If the weather is nice, you can keep it in battery-only mode by pressing a button on the console; nevertheless, you’ll need to press the accelerator lightly to get the gas engine going. While both the Honda and the Toyota have systems that are similar, the one in the Toyota is far more sensitive. To put it in perspective, the highest trim level available for the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is the Ultimate, and it costs $43,274. The shipping cost is already included in every price.

Customers looking to find the perfect fit between price and features will want to take all three of these alternatives for a spin due to the wide range in prices.
