2024 Honda Prologue Dimensions, Colors, Canada
2024 Honda Prologue Dimensions, Colors, Canada – Although Honda has manufactured several hybrid vehicles over the years, the manufacturer was slow to introduce a competitive electric vehicle (EV) to the US market. You’re looking at the 2024 Honda Prologue, an all-electric crossover around the same size as the midsize Passport.
The Prologue shares its battery packs with the Chevrolet Blazer EV since both were created in tandem with GM. The exact specifications of the Prologue are yet unknown, but it will be a crucial component in Honda’s aim to sell 2 million electric vehicles globally by 2030. Is it feasible to make a Honda-like electric vehicle with a GM engine? Regarding the timing of the response to that inquiry, please stay tuned.

2024 Honda Prologue Redesign
Exterior Design
The 2024 Honda Prologue is just one example of how Honda’s SUV collection, which includes some unexpectedly good-looking vehicles, is uniformly sleek and understated. It’s common, but it is pretty tall and wide. Back and three-quarter views show a strong resemblance to the Range Rover Evoque. This is the wrong analogy if we’re talking about how a Honda looks. The new Honda Prologue SUV has a dynamic look thanks to the black strip between the taillight clusters, similar to the one on the Evoque, and the impression of a low roofline.
The wheel diameter of 21 inches is larger than the vehicle’s chassis. “Neo-rugged” is how Honda describes its design ethos, which also emphasizes a lack of frills. The design of the bumper in front was influenced by the one on the Honda e EV. There are no extraneous or distracting design elements, simply simple lines and a closed-off grille that pairs well with the understated look of the headlights.
At its peak is a massive glass viewing platform. Honda claims that North Shore Pearl was “inspired by the natural beauty and colors of Lake Tahoe in California,” but we don’t know what the full spectrum of exterior colors for the Honda Prologue will be. This is a really eloquent way to describe a color most people call white. Although it lacks the audacity of a Chevy Blazer EV, it is refreshing to see a design that doesn’t prompt confused looks from onlookers (either way).
Compared to the new CRV and the Passport, the Honda Prologue is a midsize SUV. It’s 78.3 inches wide, over five inches bigger than the CRV, and its 192-inch length makes it larger than both vehicles. For some perspective on the Prologue’s proportions, its wheelbase is 121.8 inches, and its height is 64.7 inches.
Interior Design
The Honda Prologue’s cabin features cutting-edge amenities and can accommodate many people without alienating those who prefer a more traditional look. Two LCD displays may be found within (one measuring 11 inches for the instrument cluster and another 11.3 inches for the audio and connection). Buttons for the HVAC system remain accessible underneath the main display.
Honda has been notoriously secretive about the Honda Prologue, but these photographs indicate that the seats come in a two-tone color scheme. Likely, these are wrapped in eco-friendlier imitation leather. The high front console has several compartments, including two cupholders. The minimum Honda Prologue is equipped with adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, lane departure warning, and more. It is still being determined how much cargo space the Honda Prologue has, but the similarly sized Honda Passport has about 40 cubic feet available behind the second row. The new Honda SUV, the Prologue, will continue Honda’s tradition of practical SUV design.
2024 Honda Prologue Engine
Although details are few, we know that the Prologue may be had with either a single motor or a pair. Similar vehicles, such as the Chevrolet Blazer EV, are offered with front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive. If the Prologue will offer similar drivetrain configurations, it is currently unknown. However, the emblems in the pictures suggest that AWD comes as standard.
The Cadillac Lyriq and Chevrolet Blazer EV, two of the highest-end models, are incredibly quick. Vehicles with 557 and 500 horsepower can hit 60 mph in under four seconds. Honda will likely go it easier on the gas with the Prologue, but it should still have enough power to comfortably outrun the current gas-powered Passport. Specifications for the Prologue’s engine will be revealed soon.
2024 Honda Prologue Price and Release Date
Before the end of 2024, Honda plans to release the Prologue. The new CRV Hybrid from Honda is being promoted as a “gateway car” to the Prologue, Honda’s first fully electric vehicle. The corporation will make short-term lease schemes available to ease relocation in certain places.
While Honda has yet to disclose pricing for the 2024 Prologue, we don’t anticipate it to be too different from the Passport. The 2024 Prologue will cost roughly $45,000, based on the Passport’s starting MSRP of $41,100 in the USA. Top-tier models and trim levels may cost as much as $60,000. As hinted at by the photos’ badges, a forthcoming Elite trim level would make the Prologue a possible competitor to the Passport’s EX-L and Elite models. Is the Prologue TrailSport also on the horizon? As of now, we are still determining.
